On the Road with Dora the Explorer
RFID Gives Parents a Break During Long Drives
Long trips in the car are part of life for residents and tourists in North America. However, the idea of hours on the road with children is rather an alarming thought for many parents!
A rental car company has found a good way to divert the attention of wiggly children in the back seat. They rent out portable media players at airports across the country along with the vehicles. RFID readers are attached to the media players so that the rental company can easily monitor their availability and return.
The media players that fit in the car come pre-loaded with modern child favorites such as films starring Sponge Bob, Dora the Explorer, Jimmy Neutron and the entire Rugrats ensemble.
Now that’s interesting company for five year olds – and relief for parents as well!
