Who is cooking dinner? RFID!
Every recipe is perfect with RFID in the kitchen
A number of different companies around the world today are selling RFID-equipped hotplates and stovetops and the special pots and pans that go with them. Combined with RFID recipe cards, this high-tech and yet simple-to-use equipment makes it easy to cook a perfect meal.
How does it work? Just wave one of the recipe cards over the stove, and thanks to RFID, cooking temperature and time information are automatically transferred to the heating unit and the pot sitting on top of it; these then use RFID to interact with each other, constantly monitoring the temperature of the food and making small adjustments as needed.
Because the pan and the stovetop exchange information a dozen times every second, there is almost no chance that a meal with be burned or undercooked. That’s great for any recipe, but it’s especially useful for those extra-difficult dishes that require a lot of attention to timing and temperature.
If we could only get RFID to wash the dishes, too...
